HORROR BUFFS

    Bloody good horror reviews

Horror Buffs started off with two hardcore horror movie fans, James and E.J. It has since expanded to a few other writers like myself. The idea is to showcase the good and the bad using humour, clever insights, and in-depth film analysis.

ORANGE COURSE

From "no idea where to start" to "my website is amazing"

Orange Course is a service that helps you along the process of building a  website for your business and how to succeed in the online world of business. They'll teach you how not to get ripped off by others and how to be self-sufficient.

The blog component of this site which I write for is helpful with different tips of building your site - for Orange Course students and non-students alike.

RAZ MATAZ MAGAZINE

    Music almost famous

Raz Mataz is where you first hear of Canadian bands before they go international. The site also has great information about music history and sheds light on more obscure labels. It even covers other media like film and television.

THE BLIND TIMES

Your source of shade in a blind world

The Blind Times is a site dedicated to informing others of the issues in the world. "Your source of shade in a blind world" means just that: not everyone sees what is going on. This is my first reporting job online. Though it is no longer available, it had a small following.

SECRETS OF A GOOD GIRL

Your ultimate resource for everything you need to become the envy of all       your friends

Secrets of a Good Girl is an online magazine aimed at a female audience, delving into entertainment news, true secrets confessed by readers and writers, and advice to get you through tough times. I mostly dealt with the advice column, constructing either step-by-step articles on how to solve a problem or lists of potential solutions. The site seems to be down although the site continues on through its Facebook page.

ART

VISUAL ART

Painting and drawing has always been a hobby of mine - if I weren't pursuing a career in journalism or hoping to land a writing job, I'd be struggling to make a profit from art. I usually sell pieces on Kijiji, but instead of trying to establish a business, I'm just maintaining a passion and hoping to make a buck off of it. I do take requests and am open for negotiation on any piece I'm currently selling.

DIGITAL ART

As time goes on, art makes different developments. Being born in the height of graphic art development, I got into it pretty quickly. It makes for an unstable job which is why I never decided to pursue it, but every once in a while a friend or small company owner will shoot me a message asking for a logo here or a banner there. I'm always open to a graphic art gig.
